you know alot of people say long distance running is like running a business
and that’s SO true
if i had the choice between business owner who’s made $1 million or the best long distance runner in the world… I’d choose the runner
if you get good at running, it WILL translate into your business
let me explain why
at the start of your business you’re all excited and ready to go
same with a run most of the time
but as soon as you get in you realise… oh this is a bit harder than i thought
you start sweating
your breath starts to get heavy
same thing with business
you start to realise you can’t just start making $10k/mo
you actually have to do work
etc.
and i think you get where im going
running helps you train a certain part in your brain that kicks in once you get into pain.
when you think “no i can’t do this anymore, it’s too hard”
because at the end of the day all of the humans who died losers. all of the people who will never accomplish anything. every single one lost because they gave up
not because they’ve got a disadvantage
or because they’re stupid
or anything else
it’s because they’re too weak, too much of a slave to continue when things get hard
dont be a slave
dont be a loser
keep going, start running, and win
