Yo

This isn’t my story, but you have to hear it. It's super good and explains why you could be pissing off all your readers with emails.

It goes like this:

It’s a super hot day out, and everyone I'm out with is tired.

So we decided to go into the movie theater for air conditioning and whatnot. The thing is, there were no new movies, so we just walked in a random theater and sat down.

Then, on the screen, a lady falls down a flight of stairs.

We thought it was hilarious, so all of us laughed… then we noticed everyone looking back in horror with tears streaming down their faces.

(Probably thinking... You MONSTER, how could you laugh at that?

So anyways we left confused, and that was that.

Until 30 years later, I’m watching a movie, crying my eyes out, tissues and all… and then I see the scene where the lady falls down the stairs.

And I think… “oh no…”

The movie… was about someone dying from cancer.

This right here. This story perfectly explains why you should NEVER send out an email without first doing research.

Because if you don't have the context, you could end up having everyone think you laugh at dying cancer patients falling down the stairs. (because maybe you did do something like that)

So do your research.

Or end up fucked
