If you don’t know, Apple announced that they’re partnering with Google to bring Gemini into Siri.
But 2 years before now, they announced the exact same thing.
Not the gemini thing (they couldn’t figure AI out on their own) I mean, Apple announced the “evolved Siri” we’re supposedly getting soon.
Here’s the difference between now and then though:
Right now, almost everyone I know is hyped up for this new siri…
But two years ago?
No one gave a flying fuck.
And that’s because they did not use what they had.
They “had” (or were supposed to have) a super powerful AI model that could answer any questions, complete tasks automatically, and so much more.
They marketed… a boring voice chatbot.
So the lesson is…
