Hello.

If you don’t know me, I’m John, and I’m a recovering addict.

Of what, you ask?

Of multitasking.

Yeah, I know. It’s pretty pathetic.

But recently, I’ve been trying to quit multitasking in some instances.

Overall, I still do it sometimes. Like right now, I’m literally speaking this into ChatGPT while also doing another project.

But here’s the thing.

You need to stop multitasking for big projects.

Let me give you an example.

Right now, as I said, I’m multitasking. But I’m not multitasking on something very hard. It’s just a coding project. And AI is doing the bulk of it for me. All I have to do is prompt it.

That’s different.

Now let’s say you’re doing market research.

That takes effort.

You don’t want to multitask that.

You need to actually understand the research because it’s going to be very important for your email.

And what I’ve found is that when you do one task at a time, not thinking about anything else, only thinking about that task, you get it done faster.

And you get it done better.

I’ve been speaking into this for a while now, so I’ll keep this simple.

Stop multitasking on things that shouldn’t be multitasked.

If you multitask a single task, and a single task is something that should not be multitasked, then you’re going to get a multitasking result.

And a multitasking result is usually below average.

It varies.

But usually, it’s below average.

So just listen to this advice.

And if you’re confused, if this doesn’t make any sense, if I just sound like an idiot and you hate me, then click below if you’re interested.

You’re going to get something that will make you laugh.

You’re going to start laughing.

Because it’s so interesting that you’ll be like, how did they know I needed this?

How?

So go ahead.

And have a good day.
