Hey {{first_name|bro}},
You know what’s worse than not working?
Sitting at the computer thinking you’re working but really you haven’t done anything.
So to avoid that, here are my top 3 tips on productivity:
TIP 1: CAFFEINE
I could not tell you how many times I’ve just sat at my computer trying to stay awake.
There is no point in manually staying awake.
Also, if you’re feeling mid or kinda shit, caffeine is so good because it kind of works like a performance enhancer.
Like someone who chugs caffeine is going to do 10x more work that someone who doesn’t.
I mean, think about it: where does all the energy go? Your work.
TIP 2: Take breaks
Don’t take this wrong—No one needs more than 12 breaks a day.
But it’s actually really good to take SHORT breaks. The best is probably 3-4 5 min breaks spread throughout the day.
Like to go and make food or piss.
If you just sit their the whole day without eating or doing anything then you won’t do as much work as someone who took tiny breaks.
BUT if you take a shitload of breaks, then you’re not going to do much work by default because you’re spending too much time “resting” instead of just going and doing the work.
TIP 3: Routine
If you wake up and go to sleep at the same time everyday…
Work at the same time everyday… eat at the same time everyday… then you will just get used to it and default to work.
It might sound stupid or like it won’t work but trust me it’s really good.
This could be the most important on the list.
