The free newsletter making HR less lonely

The best HR advice comes from people who’ve been in the trenches.

That’s what this newsletter delivers.

I Hate it Here is your insider’s guide to surviving and thriving in HR, from someone who’s been there. It’s not about theory or buzzwords — it’s about practical, real-world advice for navigating everything from tricky managers to messy policies.

Every newsletter is written by Hebba Youssef — a Chief People Officer who’s seen it all and is here to share what actually works (and what doesn’t). We’re talking real talk, real strategies, and real support — all with a side of humor to keep you sane.

Because HR shouldn’t feel like a thankless job. And you shouldn’t feel alone in it.

Hey {{first_name|bro}},

I know that sounds weird but hear me out..

Yeah, some toppings are gonna fall out, and maybe the sell will break in half.

But all and all when in gets indies your mouth, that taco is gonna taste pretty darn good. And it’s the same with life.

Yeah you might fall over or have some bad stuff happen.

But in the end, you’re going to be just fine.

It’s the same thing with a campaign.

Yeah you might loose some customers or ruin something else. But in the end you’ll end up making your money back plus some.

And look, I’m sure you guys know all this.

But I see so many people dropping toppings, falling over and losing customers over and over again.

And that’s not right.

When you fall over, you need to learn from it.

So make sure you’re not just falling over but also that you’re learning from when you do.

Peace.
