Yo {{first_name|bro}},

Look, I’m a person who likes to work…

All day, all year, all month, all week when I can? I’ll be working. But sometimes you’ve got to do other things.

Sometimes you have to take the time to clean your room.

And a few weeks ago, it was getting to that time. I knew I had to clean up but I really didn’t want to.

I ended up dedicating 2 days to a full-blown clean up for my enitre room.

Might not sound like much one room… but trust me it was alot.

Anyways, after 2 days of grueling scrubing, arranging, and let’s be honest… stuffing a bunch of shit in the closet…

I WAS DONE.

Everything, spotless. It looked like a minimalists dream house.

And then what happened?

My brother threw a ball at my cup of coffee.

Before I knew it, my set up, carpet, and basically everywhere that I had just cleaned up…

Was covered in a mix of old milk and coffee.

So what did after everything I had just worked so hard to make happen got ruined infront of my eyes?

Nothing.

I didn’t get mad, I didn’t react, I just got a cloth and started cleaning.

Because there’s no point in dwelling on what happened or getting mad or WHATEVER.

The only thing I should’ve done was clean it up.

And this goes for outreach… You could spend days outreaching… even months… Just for you to mess it up on a sales call because of one objection you didn’t prepare for.

Months… gone it a question.

And your response to that? it’s what defines you as a person.

Don’t life control you… control yourself… control your reactions.
