Hey {{first_name|bro}},

Most gurus or newsletter owners wouldn’t admit something like this.

But that’s lesson one…

Don’t Reason By Analogy.

A while back I wrote an email about first principle thinking…. USE IT.

Please, NEVER just do something because everyone else is doing something. And if there’s no other way around it, then think, what does everyone have when everyone does this?

If, when everyone does something, everyone gets something you don’t want…

DON’T DO IT!

Even this advice is a form of what I’m telling you not to do, so go and figure it out yourself.

(or if you like where I’m at, Copy John !:)

The Law Of Averages.

Look, I know a lot of people that would quit if they failed three sales calls in a row.

But the thing is, if you haven’t done at least 100 sales calls, then you shouldn’t even think about changing your script.

And if you don’t have a script…. then get one (but use bullets, not full sentences)

Anyways, you need to get to a certain point where your average reveals it self. Like for example: Let’s say that you do 2 calls and you close one.

Does that mean you have a 50% closing rate? Nah.

Because when you scale it up, the true average reveals itself. And even so, let’s say you do have a 50% closing rate and you fail 50 sales calls with 50 more to go.

Are you a bad closer? No, because you could go on to close all of those 50 in a row.

And don’t say that’s unreasonable because it’s happened before.

Don’t put yourself down; your true average will show itself after 100 calls, 1,000 replies and 10,000 outreaches.

Be confident.

This one is the most important.

You NEED to ask questions, you NEED to ask them to elaborate, you NEED to be pushy, you need to be polite, you need to be calm and you need to have enthusiasm.

Now, you’ll learn all this with practice but you need to do alll these things at the right time.

You can’t be an introvert and run a business.

I’m sorry but you’ve been sold a lie. You can’t just sit in your room all day by yourself. You need to get out there and talk to people.

Whether it’s prospects or other copywriters.

YOU. NEED. TO. BE. ARTICULATE.

And if you have a non-1st world country accent, then multiply everything in this email by 10.

And if you’re under 20/yo times it by 100.

Idc how you feel it’s just the truth. I send out the emails you guys need, not want.

Good luck, {{first_name}}.
