You just got to the gym.
You’ve never worked out a day in your life.
You go over to the dumbbells, pick up 100 ibs, and… drop the dumbbell on your foot, break your arm, and leave in an ambulance.
6 months later you’ve fully healed.
So you go back to the gym….
Walk over to the rack…
AND PICK UP 200 LBS???
Wow… what a dumbass… am i right?
Well, tell me if this sounds familiar to you:
You wake up, set 100 tasks todo, try and do outreach, quit social media, etc. then you end up quitting copywriting for a week binging games, tv, and anything you can get your hands on that’s not productive.
Then a week later you see a “get rich reel.”
You QUIT social media for good and…
Try to do 200 tasks, outreach, cold calls, write copy, and quit going to the toilet because it’s time for grinding….
Can you guess what happens next?
Look, my whole point of this (even if I may have overexaggerated) is that when you’ve failed at trying to do something…
E.g., outreach
It means you need to start with a smaller amount and gradually increase it.
NOT double the amount and try to squash it all in tomorrow.
Hope this helped.
(if you want even more help, this actually is really good for productivity:)
