Hey {{first_name|bro}},

Imagine you’re in the desert…

You’re a thirsty, dry-lipped, desperate piece of worn-out slop.

As you’re slugging along the side of the sand dunes, wondering if you’ll ever find just a lick of water, you see a cactus.

And then you start to wonder… how are cactuses even a thing?

I mean, they’re plants. That solely rely on water. In the place that has the least amount of water in the world.

They don’t even have soil to put their feet in.

Cacti literally have it the worst out of all the plants yet they’re doing just fine.

How?

  1. nobody messes with them—they terrible to eat and toxic to drink so people leave them alone

  1. Tough skin—Sandstorms, the blazing hot sun and even animals attacking them have no effect. They just push through it all

  2. Deep Roots—When rain comes… they capitalize on it. They’re always prepared for opportunities

So what does this have to do with anything?

Well, you need to be like a cactus.

Take a look at those rules again and apply them to your life. Because if you do, and especially rule three, you’ll win.

But if you want a little reminder…
