So recently I’ve been telling you guys to do outreach and how important it is etc. etc.
But i realizing that i never actually showed you what to do once you get the call booked. That’s what I’m doing today.
Step zero:
Figure out how you’re going to get paid and have a invoice link ready (VERY IMPORTANT)
Step one:
You need Calendly if you’re going to do this.
Step two:
Once you’ve got a call booked, this is the most important step. You have to do a shit load of research on whoever you’re talking to.
What do they do?
How long have they been doing it
Do they have a dog?
All of this stuff will help you later on in the call
Step three:
Get a sales call script.
It needs to be something that works very well and also doesn’t take too long.
You’re a copywriter so you should be able to put something together. Once you’ve done that, put the script in bullets and memorize it really well.
I’m talking say the script in the mirror over and over.
This is important because you don’t want to get choked up on the call.
Step four:
Onboard.
This is what you need to do and I’m going to teach this tomorrow
For now, have a look at this:
