The free newsletter making HR less lonely

The best HR advice comes from people who’ve been in the trenches.

That’s what this newsletter delivers.

I Hate it Here is your insider’s guide to surviving and thriving in HR, from someone who’s been there. It’s not about theory or buzzwords — it’s about practical, real-world advice for navigating everything from tricky managers to messy policies.

Every newsletter is written by Hebba Youssef — a Chief People Officer who’s seen it all and is here to share what actually works (and what doesn’t). We’re talking real talk, real strategies, and real support — all with a side of humor to keep you sane.

Because HR shouldn’t feel like a thankless job. And you shouldn’t feel alone in it.

—

(no hate to this guy or his team, it's just a critique and nothing more than my opinion.)

This email is really sh#t.

But the worst part about this email isn’t how horribly bad it is…. It’s how horribly bad all of the other emails were before this.

I mean this guy sends out terrible email after terrible email.

Not a single piece of value ever sent out to his list, just pure direct response. Every. Single. Time.

And the worst part?

He’s like a dead beat dad after you get famous. (metaphorically)

He only sends out emails when he’s running a promotion. So basically, he scams you… leaves for 3 months… and then comes back to scam you again!

(I don’t actually know if he scams so don’t take my word for it)

Anyways,

Make sure that you’re actually sending out value to your list before pitching tf out of them.

Peace.
