You know, i see alot of soft copywriters.
And by that I mean shit ones who used to be good but now they’re just washed up.
So I’m not going to let you become one, here’s what you gotta do if you want to become a rock-hard copywriter.
Do what made you good.
I don’t care who you are: you’re probably better than when you first started. Because when you wrote your first piece of copy, you had no idea what you were doing.
It was hard, painful, and annoying.
But after writing a few more painful pieces of copy, you eventually got the hang of it.
Your pieces got better, and before you knew it, you were a top-tier copywriter who could bang out better copy way faster than when you started.
All this is normal, you’re gaining.
But here’s the trap soft copywriters fall into: they end up writing the same level copy over and over and over again.
No annoying copy, no painful copy, and no hard copy.
Actually, I’ve seen people who go DOWN… They start writing copy that’s below their level.
Then what happens is when they try to write high level copy… they can’t.
Even though at one point they could.
So make sure that no matter how good you get at copywriting, you always suck 😂
I know I’ve been having a really tough time lately writing copy because I’m writing so many new pieces of copy.
It’s annoying, but I love it.
