This is 100% true and it’s why I see so many dumb copywriters fuck up everything they’re doing.
And my guess is that they know “everything.”
They know a bit here… and a bit there.. And so on so fourth.
So when it’s time to sit down and write an email for a tractor email for farmers, they think…
“Oh that’s easy I know about farmers.”
So they write and email…
Turn it in…
And it flops on it’s side (AKA no sales).
And then they wonder why.
Here’s why:
YOU DON”T KNOW ANYTHING. Maybe the guy thought, well this tractor is really expensive so let me try to talk about how it’s good quality.
But really all tractors are expensive and this one was cheap compared to the others.
So he should’ve talked about how cheap it is.
Or maybe the other way around.
Point is, you need to do research about whatever you’re writing for even if you think you know what you’re doing…
