Yo
Someone asked me this:
“Bro idk i just haven’t been feeling it recently. I used to be so good with my work and stuff and I felt like i was making progress but now I feel like i’m just washed. The worst part is probably going to sleep every single night knowing full well 100% gun to my head I could’ve done better that day. I used to go to sleep fulfilled, tired, and happy knowing I worked hard that day and I did a good job. But nowadays it’s just like: “whelp… i fucked up again today. No results, not getting better, just a sad sack of shit that should’ve done better” why did this happen? I’ve been in copywriting for 6 months.”
Here’s my reply (he said I could post this):
There isn’t one reason.
There are, though, a bunch of little problems stabbing at you over time.
Think about it like this:
Right now, you’re building a house. You’re pretty far up, maybe even have the floor and some walls down.
In the beginning, you were building brick by brick… and you were making progress because it’s not that hard to put some bricks on the floor.
Few months later you’re still building, it’s alright.
Then, month 3, things start to go wrong.
Your mortar is drying wrong.
Your floor is getting moldy.
Your bricks are getting wobbly.
But you’re not realizing any of this, you’re just working, brick by brick… until one day 5 months down the line, all the problems build up.
Your floor caves in.
Your bricks crack.
Your whole house gets fucked in what looks like a few days.
But in reality a bunch of little problems started appearing and building up over time.
Now that house can be an analogy for whatever you’re having problems with. It can be addictions, your business, your mind… almost anything.
What you need to do is some maintenance.
You need to start tracking where you’re having problems, figure out what they are, and solve them bit by bit.
Like for example if you’re not working enough, track your day. (write down what you do each hour)
If you find 6 hours on tiktok everyday, cut that down to 5 then 4 and so on until you’ve completely removed it.
Remember:
Rome wasn’t built in a day. And it didn’t collapse in a day.
It’s the small, seemingly meaningless decision you make every day that either build your house, or turn it into a pile of useless rubble.
Here’s a small decision now:

Good luck.
