The free newsletter making HR less lonely

The best HR advice comes from people who’ve been in the trenches.

That’s what this newsletter delivers.

I Hate it Here is your insider’s guide to surviving and thriving in HR, from someone who’s been there. It’s not about theory or buzzwords — it’s about practical, real-world advice for navigating everything from tricky managers to messy policies.

Every newsletter is written by Hebba Youssef — a Chief People Officer who’s seen it all and is here to share what actually works (and what doesn’t). We’re talking real talk, real strategies, and real support — all with a side of humor to keep you sane.

Because HR shouldn’t feel like a thankless job. And you shouldn’t feel alone in it.

Hey {{first_name|bro}},

I just read Ben Settle’s email.

And I have to say, he can write a dang good bullet.

I read the first bullet and thought about buying his email players immediately. Now I don’t think I will but it’s really good.

I mean, this guy isn’t the world’s best email copywriter for no reason.

Anyways, the point is:

If you can write good bullets, you can write good sales copy.

And tbh brand copy is a breeze most of the time so if you can write good sales copy, you can probably write good brand copy.

So here are some bullets to sell bullets….

  • This 5-second practice method could turn you into a world-class sales copy expert

  • The single line that makes a dying piece of copy look like a wolf of wall street seller

  • A formatting trick that’s been hidden in sales letters for centuries (but is the trick to getting more sales than you know to do with!)

Now, obviously, these are very salesy and might not work for every situation but I included these bullets because they include so many techniques in just one or two lines.

So I suggest you go and write some bullets now.

What are you waiting for?

GO!
