A subscriber asked the other day…

“When do I do outreach?”

And I was drinking tea just now, thinking of when the best time to outreach would be.

What I realized is there isn’t a best point where you can outreach, more like a gateway. Now I know that makes no sense so let me tell a parable:

(write this down)

“Outreach is like drinking tea. Start too fast, and you’ll end up spitting out your drink. Wait too long to start, and you’ll end up with shitty tea.”

So how do you know when you’re ready to start outreach?

Skills.

I don’t care what guru told you, the most important thing that determines whether or not you’re going to make a bunch of money with outreach or fail miserably…

Is if you’re good at copywriting.

I’ve even had to stop people from buying my outreach skipper tool because they weren’t ready yet (that’s part of why I made it a bonus for beehiiv).

Right, how do you actually know if you’re ready to start outreach?

Well in my bias but extremely true opinion… start a newsletter and email it everyday.

Now if you haven’t seen my 34 reasons why to start mailing daily to your list, you can go check that out but basically, one of the reasons I said was that you’ll get better at copywriting.

And I truly agree with that.

Not only will you get better but you’ll see the exact point where you start getting better.

Like I literally have a graph with all my email rates and stuff and it shows where I was shit and where I was really good.

Anyways, I think that once you’ve gotten your first sale, you’re ready.

I don’t care if your open rates are 99% and your CTR is 87% if you haven’t gotten at least one sale, then you’re not ready.

And if you don’t have/want to sell an offer, that’s fine.

I figured out a way that you can sell anything on the internet and get paid for it as long as you’re savvy.

If you want everything, just reply to me after you’ve signed up to beehiiv.

But only sign up if you serious about copywriting. Anything else, just forget this and go back to “swiping” your grandma’s left ball sack.
