Hey {{first_name|bro}},
A new subscriber recently requested:
“Let the emails base on marketing, how to write landing page Or sales page, what a copywriter need to have on place before start outreach. And mostly conversion copy to learn from.”
So I thought I’d write about part of it today.
What do you need to have in place before starting outreach?
Well, here's the thing…
You’re never going to have everything in place,, and no one’s offer is good just starting out.
So I’d say you just need two things, and I’ll get into those later, but…
you NEED basic english.
If you can’t understand, write, and speak english fluently then you’re cooked. Sorry, but that’s just the way it is.
Anyways, you guys probably already know that by now, so I’ll get into the good stuff.
“Thing” Number One:
You need sheer and utter confidence.
Confidence that manifests in your offer… Confidence that manifests in your outreach… Confidence in your sales calls.
You need to be confident in these things because once you are, you’ll have conviction.
Once you’ve got that?
Everything client-getting related is fucking CAKE.
“Thing” Number Two:
By now you know how to get a client, but what happens when you get one?
And before you skip off saying…
“Uh, I don’t have a client, so it doesn’t even matter.”
If you know this, it will make your confidence x2000 better (no, I didn’t just make that number up)
SO PAY ATTENTION.
Having a client isn’t how you’re going to expect it….
Things are going to go wrong… They’ll ask you to do stuff you don’t know how to do… and above all else, you have to figure stuff out.
But guess what?
Figuring shit out is a skill, and once you’ve mastered the art of figuring shit out (on the fly most of the time), you’re going to make a lot of money.
And help a lot of people.
So stop letting whoever you’re supposed to be helping right now suffer…
Start figuring shit out.
