Hey {{first_name|bro}},
A subscriber recently asked…
“What are the three best niches to outreach to right now?”
Here’s my response:
Rentals, real estate, and all niches.
I’m not going to explain what I think about real estate because I already made a three part series on the best niche to pick and (spoiler) I picked real estate.
You can read that here.
Do I still think that real estate is the GOAT?
Eh… not anymore.
At the time when I wrote that email, real estate probably was the best niche out there, but I found a new niche that’s way better.
But before I get into that, let’s talk about rentals.
One problem that I came into with real estate was that (for the sub niche I was targeting - property management) they didn’t really need emails.
If you outreached to realtors you might be better off or you could go into rentals.
Here’s why I think it’s good:
Emails would do WONDERS for a rental business.
Why?
Well, what I’ve noticed is that alot of rental businesses do SEO - search engine optimization - which means there’s tons of people coming to their website.
And sure, maybe some people will convert straight off the website.
But most people won't.
They’ll come to the website, look around, and leave.
Boom, customers vanished from that rental business's sight. Whereas if they had a newsletter, people would come to the website, sign up and leave.
Then later on they’ll get reminded to come back.
And some of those people that would’ve just vanished will now end up becoming customers.
But that’s not it…
Even if the rental business is getting their traffic off of referrals or whatever, they still need emails.
Because the renal business model is by nature subscription based.
For example:
Let’s say you’re a car rental business and you’ve got 300 customers.
Without emails, the customers might get a few phone calls or a talk with a sales rep to try and keep them warm.
But at the most that’s 3-5 days out of the month you’re messaging them.
Most people are either going to switch rental companies or stop renting cars if they’re not being constantly persuaded.
So… WITH emails, the customers aren’t being left for dead (basically).
They’re being kept warm, they’re getting loyalty campaigns, heck you could even start throwing in upsells for them/their family.
All of this - and so much more - is bound to stop churn (people leaving) and shoot up sales.
That’s why I think rental companies are almost perfect to outreach to.
And keep in mind, if you choose one of these niches… you have to stick to that niche like your life depends on it.
You’re either all in or all out.
Huh, all out?
Yeah, this is what I call “all niches.”
Instead of choosing one niche and sticking to it (not the worst idea), you choose ALL niches and just go ham.
Real estate? OUTREACH
Ecom? OUTREACH
Fitness? Eh… maybe skip that one 😂
Honestly, no matter what you choose as your niche, just make sure it’s people that actually need emails. (if that’s what you’re selling.)
Because there’s no point in sending a bunch of “free value google docs” when no one needs them.
And instead of pitching them emails out of blue like everyone else does, just have a conversation.
Ask them about their funnel, how email fits in with that, and smoothly show them how you can help. As long as you back up your claims with proof you know what you’re doing, it should be smooth sailing.
And don’t worry if you haven’t got any proof.
I’ve got an easy way you can build some credibility with clients and get paid for doing it at the same time. (without any outreach)
All you have to do is start a newsletter on beehiiv.
When clients see that you can manage a newsletter and website, it looks really impressive to them.
But really, it’s super easy to keep running (literally one email a day)...
And if you’re interested, I can send you three guides I whipped up that reveal how you can…
Get tons of leads pouring into your website—without outreach, long and boring methods, or almost any real work
Create a website that impresses clients, and converts visitors—so you get more people on your list, and more clicks on your emails
Write emails that FORCE people to click—so you can prove to clients you know what you’re doing
Just click here, sign up, and reply to this email.
I’ll be waiting {{first_name}}.
peace.
