You know it’s not everyday that I hit up the bowling alley, but when I do…

There’s kind of a stigma around bowling and that it's sort of a lame “sport” to play. So whenever I’m dragged there by my brother, I guess I don’t really have as much fun as I should.

Whether you’re having a jolly o’ time reading this email or having a pretty bored gloss over my words.. depends on your invisible scale.
You see, you’ve got a scale for everything in your life, and I’ll prove it.
Hitler.
Gandhi.
Stalin
Jesus.
If you’re anything like me, your internal scales just went up and down. And that’s because you subconsciously ranked these people on a scale.
But why does that even matter?
Well, people are ranking you (or your client’s) emails.
So everytime they see the “from” name in the inbox, they’ll decide whether or not they like you (with the invisible scale) and then it’ll affect how good of a time they have on your email.
Which means if you’ve been sending out a bunch of shlt emails to your list, they’re more likely not to like the next email you send out.
Good news is: this goes both ways.
If you’ve been sending out amazing emails and then you send out one mid email, most people will still like the mid email.
And I think the best way to get around this is to send out daily emails.
My philosophy has always been that no matter what happens, I’m going to send out an email everyday. If I get opens, clicks, and sales?
Great.
If not? I still got my practice in.
And the more practice I do, the better my ranking on the invisible scale will be.
