Don’t get me wrong…
Free value does have a time and place in certain methods. But it ABSOLUTELY will not do you any good jizzed out to everyone with a pulse and a business
Let me explain:
I see a bunch of newbies writing “free value” emails to send out to prospects.
But the prospect they’re outreaching to didn’t ask for (nor wants) a shitty piece of AI direct response.
And even if it’s good, they still don’t want it.
Tell me, if you’ve got a list of 30000 people that you probably haven’t been sending anything to (most business owners don’t), would you just randomly send out a piece of DR?
Three months of waiting, and a bunch of cold subscribers get sent a sales pitch.
You wanna know what happens after that?
Everyone unsubscribes.
If you have any integrity for your time, your sanity and the health of these people you’re outreaching to, PLEASE… do not. Send out. Random emails to people.
I get it, you want to outreach and practice copy at the same time.
But what you’re actually doing, is fucking up both. Because of four different reasons:
No one wants your email (even if it’s good) so you’re wasting time, energy, prospects, and Fing up outreach
You have no way of knowing if something's good. Did the people not respond because your copy is bad or some other reason? Did the people respond because your copy is good? How do they know your copy is good? What if they do send it out, and the copy does badly because the audience wasn't ready?
Essentially you’re getting worse AND messing up outreach. (wasting time too)
