Just before I wrote this email, I was talking to the rain, and it told me you’re trash.
I’ll explain why in a sec but first… what do you think of rain?
Chances are, if you’re like most of the world, you don’t really like the rain.
It’s cold, dark, gloomy, why would you like it anyways? It gets everything wet and ruins a good day out, who could ever like that??
Me.
I live in Cali, which means most of the time it’s either sunny or cloudy so when rain comes around, I treasure it more.
That right there is what the rain told me.
You see it?
It says you suck balls at copywriting.
Right, let me explain: when most people are writing copy, they make assumptions.
They think, “yeah, that checks out… who likes rain anyways?”
But what they don’t realize is that not everyone lives in England, and some people don’t get rained on enough to completely resent it. (it rains a lot in England.)
Same thing with you.
You’re bringing in some sort of bias, past experience, or assumption into your copy.
At times this can be a good thing, but at others, it can mean your copy completely falls flat on its face.
So instead of guessing, research everything.
Ask:
What is this person's problem?
How do they feel about it?
How does my product solve that problem?
How do they feel about my product?
Obviously that’s not all you’ve got to ask, but it’s enough for a darn good start.
Take the start and turn it into some good copy.
Good luck,
John
P.S. Is there something in the water?
Because people have been asking me the same question over and over again…
“How do I get clients without outreach?”
I’ll just answer it here for everyone:
I only know one way to get clients without spending hours everyday sending cold emails, instagram dms, or whatever else bullshit tactics you might be doing.
It’s completely free to do, I’ve already booked multiple calls with it, and I’ve signed clients, all without outreaching.
How?
Well, it’s a method I discovered desperately one night after wasting 4 months on outreach.
I just wanted to forget sending emails, prospecting, and sucking up to potential clients… All I really wanted was to get paid quick with almost no work.
So I started doing some research and found a hidden way in Google’s interface to sign clients.
I know that sounds vague but I don’t want to tell everyone about this.
Because if that happened, almost all of the copywriting community would start signing clients without doing any outreach. (and that would mean tons of shit copywriters with real clients)
So I’ve decided on this:
If you’re actually serious about copywriting, I’ll give you the free method that lets you sign clients without doing any outreach…
BUT you have to submit copy to me daily so that I can review it.
That way when you sign a client, you’ll be very good and won’t cause any trouble with copywriter's reputation as a whole.
Reply to this email if you want it.
ONLY IF YOU ARE WILLING TO GET YOUR COPY REVIEWED
