Will A Book Grow Your Business?

No one buys a beach house from selling a book. They buy the beach house from the opportunities the book gets them.

Author.Inc helps experts, executives, and entrepreneurs turn expertise into world‑class books that build revenue, reputation, and reach.

Their team—behind projects with Tim Ferriss and Codie Sanchez—cuts through uncertainty to show whether your book can realistically hit those targets.

This isn’t writing advice. It’s a strategic consultation to decide whether now is the right time to put pen to paper.

If it’s a go, they’ll show you how to write and publish it at a world-class level. If it’s a wait, you just avoided wasting time and money.

This is alright bro don’t get me wrong but when you say this it means that right now they’re not winning.

That’s just a small hit to the ego early on so I’d be cautious about stuff like that.

You signed up to this newsletter because you feel it too.

That gut punch when a "ready to buy" client ghosts you after the third follow-up.

That deal you spent 6 hours on lost to another agent at the last second.

add “and” inbetween “on” and “lost.”

Here's the truth: You don't have a lead problem. You have a closing problem.

You're getting 30-40 leads a month but only converting 5-6 into closings.

make suer you’re doing market research for these numbers, this could be way off for alot of people and throw them off.

Close just 3 more deals per month at $5K each?

That's $180K more per year. Same leads. Better close rate.

bro how is this a welcome email? it’s basically just talking about their problems so far .

The 1% winners ain't getting better leads…

…they're just not fumbling at the goal line.

make this a full sentence.

While you're winging sales calls, they're drilling objection handlers every morning like athletes.

They've got systems that turn "I need to think about it" into signed contracts.

Over the next 7 days, I'm sending you the exact objection handlers and closing frameworks my team drills daily. The same systems that turn 'maybes' into commission checks.

Well I can’t lie, grant cardone is a very direct responsy guy so it makes sense his whole welcome email is just selling

nonetheless I think that you should include something to build trust

I know you’re building trust with the relatability aspect of this email but I feel like you could do more, especially since this is a welcome email.

NGL I think this might be AI bro.

It’s alright but you need to write your own emails rather than just getting AI to generate them for you.

A welcome is meant to have a warm welcome and to build trust (maybe sell if you’re grant)

But this was basically just motivation/selling the whole time.

They already signed up for the list because they wanted the next 7 emails so why are you selling them again?

Why not use the energy and excitement they’ve got from being a new subscriber and direct it towards a real relationship with grant?

I’m not saying you need to stop selling or that you need to only focus on brand copy.

I get it. THis is direct response. It’s the way the game works…

But that doesn’t mean you can’t make a good first impression..
