In January 2008, Starbucks was on its way to completely fucking itself in the ass all the way to bankrupt, washed up, and generally just a sad excuse of a wannabe company that failed.

And it didn’t help that America was about to have one of the biggest recessions in history.

Essentially, Starbucks was sweating balls and hanging on by a thread.

Until they brought in who I like to call “The Resolution Resurrector,” Howard Schultz.

This guy returned as CEO and made a drastic early-year decision:

• Closed 7,100 U.S. stores for retraining

• Re-centered the company around craft and experience

This was wildly unpopular…

people got pissed…

I’m sure some crazy homeless guy even smashed a window or two.

But that retraining (and other stuff we’ll get into) took Starbucks out of the gutter and put it on the fortune 500… at a time when most companies went bankrupt.

Now i guarantee you, he had some resolutions.

did he call them that? maybe

was it exactly new years? who cares

all I know is that he had KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), goals, and a heck of a lot of rules… aka resolutions.

Every company does.

So if all of the biggest companies in the world (most profitable, beneficial, whatever) have "resolutions" in a way... why wouldn't you?

What? You think you're better than them?

I can tell you right now, you're definitely not better than Starbucks, and you're 100% not better than Google.

at least right now.

Think of it like this:

Google is on level 1.7 billion

you're on level 7

if you just make some resolutions, track some things, and iterate on what you tracked...

you’ll be at level 8, maybe level 9

that's almost two levels closer to one of the biggest companies in the world

it's worth more than 420 Somalia’s! (kinda)

most people are fucking level negative, jerking off, and overall just sad losers.

you'll be 2 more points away from that if you just do a resolution or two.

food for thought.

Easy setup, easy money

Making money from your content shouldn’t be complicated. With Google AdSense, it isn’t.

Automatic ad placement and optimization ensure the highest-paying, most relevant ads appear on your site. And it literally takes just seconds to set up.

That’s why WikiHow, the world’s most popular how-to site, keeps it simple with Google AdSense: “All you do is drop a little code on your website and Google AdSense immediately starts working.”

The TL;DR? You focus on creating. Google AdSense handles the rest.

Start earning the easy way with AdSense.

p.s my new years resolution is to work so much this year, next year my resolution is to work less.
