My Big Stupid Outreach failure

Few months ago I just realized I fxcked up BIG time.

Let me take you back…

It was about 5pm in the afternoon.

I’d just watched tom stoic tell me I’m a fat, loser, gay cunt because I didn’t have a niche, so it was time to choose one.

Now instead of thinking…

“Hmm, what’s a niche most people don’t outreach to?” 

Or

“What niche has the most potential to make me money?”

I thought…

“What do I know most about?”

Because tom stoic told me that’s how you should choose your niche. (wrong)

So my dumbass chose fitness coaches 😂

And that’s not even the worst part about this whole thing.

I bought some shitty clothes on Shein, took a bunch of blurry pictures not showing my face, put them up on instagram and… walwa.

My outreach profile was ready to go.

So I proceed to send 400 outreach messages over the span of like a month using the complement method 😭

Here’s exactly what happened everytime:

THAT’S IT.

And you know what?

Every time I got a reply from (probably) some indian closer… I was shitting bricks.

Honestly it was awful. 

I hated outreach so much and I just wanted to make money with copywriting. But I couldn’t even sign a client for free if I wanted to.

So when I found out that outreaching to fitness coaches is literally the worst thing you could do.

And using the complement method…

And using a shit instagram…

And that tom stoic was a scammer…

AND that my copy was complete shit

AND THAT I WASN’T EVEN TALKING TO COACHES THE WHOLE TIME IT WAS JUST RANDOM CLOSERS…

And that i’d just spent a whole month, 12 hours everyday, wasting my time.

I was pissed.

But you know what I didn’t do?

I didn’t act like a baby and start getting mad or whatever. I used all my anger to go and send another 400 shit outreach on email 😂

But that’s a story for another time.
