Hey {{first_name|bro}},

I’ve been writing this newsletter for months.

Around 15 days in I kinda wanted to quit, but I didn’t and I’m glad I didn’t.

That’s rule number one, just don’t quit. If you can last 31 days without quitting a habit, it’ll become a habit.

Wanna go to the gym?

Force yourself in there for 31 days and it’ll end up habit.

Rule number two: have a reason why you want to do the habit.

Wanna go to the gym?

… why?

Just because you heard it was good for you?

Well that’s not enough. What if the reason you wanted to go is because you wanted to bang some chick?

THat’s a good reason.

Why?

Because we’re biologically designed to have a desire for reproducing. So if you make the reason you want to do something alined with the LF8, you’ll probably do it.

Survival, enjoyment of life, and life extension: The innate drive to stay alive and prolong one's life.

Enjoyment of food and beverages: The desire for food and drinks.

Freedom from fear, pain, and danger: The instinct to seek safety and security.

Sexual companionship: The drive for companionship and relationships.

Comfortable living conditions: The desire for physical comfort and a good quality of life.

To be superior, winning, and keeping up with the Joneses: The drive for status, competition, and

achievement.

Care and protection of loved ones: The instinct to protect one's family and loved ones.

Social approval: The need for acceptance and approval from others.

Rule 3:

If you give up… you’re gay.
